Millenia Resource Consulting employs a professional group of project managers experienced in executing projects of various sizes. Possessing an optimum balance between technical and management knowledge, our project managers find innovative solutions to reduce capital and operating costs and complete projects ahead of schedule.

Millenia Resource Consulting's project managers focus on alignment with the customer from the beginning of a project using a task force approach.  Developing a joint understanding of the project's key drivers through effective communication and coordination, helps build a project team that works with the customer, constructors and key suppliers to optimize project life cycle costs. Key construction personnel are also included in the project team to ensure constructability of the design in the early stages of the project.
 

Engineering

Millenia Resource Consulting maintains a staff of experienced engineering and technical professionals.  Our engineering personnel regularly take part in feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, troubleshooting, commissioning and start-up, and operator training.  Millenia Resource Consulting's engineering staff work in separate task force areas so they can focus on project objectives and improve communication. Our design teams regularly brainstorm with customers, vendors and constructors to develop innovative ideas that offer cost-effective solutions.

Procurement

Millenia Resource Consulting' s procurement department integrates purchasing, subcontract administration, expediting, inspection and traffic logistics. We adapt and modify our standard procurement procedures to provide customers with project-specific services.

Construction Management

At Millenia Resource Consulting, we have proven our construction management capabilities on projects that range from conventional stick-built facilities and modular facilities requiring advanced construction techniques.  Our project personnel are regularly assigned to the field to gain as much experience as possible on our construction projects. This gives them a better understanding of constructability issues when they are designing or reviewing designs for our clients.

Construction management personnel at Millenia Resource Consulting have worked on grassroots projects and have completed work for operating facilities. With their extensive experience, they understand the interface management required to successfully complete projects.  Safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements are the highest priority when we manage customers' construction projects.

Contracting Flexibility

Millenia Resource Consulting has been involved in a variety of contract types with numerous customers.  We have completed projects both on a reimbursable and lump sum turnkey basis.  Over the years, customers have wanted to take a more active role in the execution of their projects.  To accommodate this, contracts have moved away from lump sum formats to reimbursable fixed fee and straight reimbursable formats.  Today's business climate, however, has created an opportunity for owners and contractors to work even more closely together, through alignment contracting, to produce facilities that are cost-effective in both capital and operating expenditures.  Millenia Resource Consulting is willing to work with our customers to this end.
